Chapel Spa Classes

We offer classes in the ancient arts of Ashtanga Yoga, which takes place in the serene surroundings of our gallery and is taught by Kathy Moore our Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic Specialist who is recognised on a national level.

The Ashtanga method of Yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures - a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is an improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Our programme is designed for beginners and the more experienced, and classes are limited to a maximum of 12 people per class, which ensures participants receive personal instruction and gain in confidence and ability.

Ashtanga Yoga Full Primary Series with Kathy Moores                                                                                                                 This class consists of a fixed sequence of postures (asanas) linked together by the breath. Emphasis is on synchronizing the breath and movement in a continuous rhythmic flow of postures. An energizing practice, it is a complete fitness workout that can help you gain strength, flexibility, stamina and focus your mind. Ideal for those looking for a more challenging yoga class.

Power Yoga with Kathy Moores. 

Power yoga is a unique combination of dynamic breathing and strong, flowing movement, which creates a high-heat, high energy workout. A choreographed sequence of postures that flow into one another, building strength, unwinding tight joints and loosening muscles. A complete mind and body workout.
