The Ashtanga method of Yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is an improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Ashtanga Yoga Full Primary Series with Kathy Moores: Tuesday Evenings

This class consists of a fixed sequence of postures (asanas) linked together by the breath. Emphasis is on synchronizing the breath and movement in a continuous rhythmic flow of postures. An energizing practice, it is a complete fitness workout that can help you gain strength, flexibility, stamina and focus your mind. Ideal for those looking for a more challenging yoga class.
